Our Joyful Noise Handbell Choir generally rehearses on Sundays in the Sanctuary, 11:15 am-12:15 pm.

Our service also includes a special time for the children. Children begin worship in the Sanctuary and leave with teachers during the sermon time for Sunday school. They are also welcome to worship with their families in the pews. Sound is also turned on in our Gathering Space just outside the big glass doors to the Sanctuary in case your child needs a little more space to move around during the service. A nursery is available for younger children if your family prefers that option.
Masks and socially distanced seating are optional.

Marian Harmon’s funeral will take place in the FVPC Sanctuary at 2:00 pm. As the family will be leaving shortly after the service for Iowa, where Marian will be buried, there will be no reception at FVPC.

All children and youth are invited to join us for 10:15 AM worship as we celebrate Bible Sunday. During the service, elementary, middle, and high school students will receive a Bible to use as they grow in their faith and explore Scripture.

Jeff and Deb Mengler will be hosting a Labor Day cookout for all current Chancel Choir members and all those interested in participating in Chancel Choir. The cookout begins at 3:00 pm on the deck (weather permitting) of their home, 902 Dean Street in St. Charles. The front door will be accessible for those who need it.
Grilled burgers and brats, potato salad, sweet corn from a local farm, and perhaps salads from the garden will be served. Folks are welcome to bring a side dish or dessert to share if they wish.
