On the first Sunday of Lent, Feb. 18, the whole church will engage in a Spiritual Renewal Sunday that offers us all opportunities to learn about and try out a variety of spiritual practices that we could use to enrich our Lenten journeys.  We will start our worship by gathering in the sanctuary at 10:15 a.m. for communion and opening prayers, but soon after worshipers will be able to visit up to three different stations located around the church for 20 minutes each to explore what is offered.  Stations are designed to be accessible to all ages, stages, and abilities. From a drum circle to centering prayer, prayer beads to painted prayer rocks, a communal mosaic to hymn singing, and more, there is something for everyone, and, hopefully, something new to everyone, too. When our prayerful explorations come to an end, we'll regather in Great Hall around tables again to share in fellowship together. Recognizing this is a longer commitment than a usual Sunday morning, if you cannot stay to experience all three stations available, please stay as long as you are able and leave when you need to.
