Church World Service bucket and kit drive

  • Google Calendar ICS

The Mission Committee is collecting emergency clean-up buckets and hygiene kits for Church World Service. Church World Service is a faith-based organization that responds to deadly emergencies in dozens of countries around the globe. Their vision "is a world where everyone has food, voice and a safe place to call home."

This year’s collection will take place March 16-April 27. The Mission Committee is requesting monetary donations, as the items for the kits can be difficult to find. The Hygiene kits cost $15-20 to assemble and the emergency clean-up buckets cost $75-100 to buy all of the items. Contributions in all amounts are welcome.

When donating by check, please add “CWS Cleanup Buckets” to the memo line. You may donate on the church website giving page by choosing “CWS Emergency Cleanup Buckets” from the drop-down menu. Tose who wish to purchase items for the kits are asked to email Pat Sage for a list of items.

The students in Miss Heather’s 4 and 5 year old class invite you to their art show! The students spent the month of March learning about and then making art in the style of Monet, Picasso, Warhol and Jackson Pollock.  They also read books by Peter H. Reynolds and Michael Hall and let the words of those authors inspire their artwork. Please enjoy as you take a walk through our “art gallery” located in Rooms 2, 3, and 4 as well as the Upper Gathering Space.

Easter worship in the Sanctuary

  • Fox Valley Presbyterian Church (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

All are welcome to our service of Scripture, sermon, prayers, and song. We will gather in celebration of Easter in the Sanctuary, 10:15 am. Come and hear glorious music as the Chancel Choir, Joyful Noise Handbell Choir, and Northside Brass take part in our worship service.

Our service also includes a special time for the children. Children begin worship in the Sanctuary and leave with teachers during the sermon time for Sunday school. They are also welcome to worship with their families in the pews. Sound is also turned on in our Gathering Space just outside the big glass doors to the sanctuary in case your child needs a little more space to move around during the service. A nursery is available for younger children if your family prefers that option.

Masks and socially distanced seating are optional.
