The Summer 2024 FVPC EcoWalk will be held at McKee Marsh, which is within Blackwell Forest Preserve off Mack Road in DuPage County. It will begin at 9:00 am on Saturday, July 27, 2024.  The trail is fully accessible.  Be sure to bring sunscreen and bug repellant.  It is an intergenerational event.

From the Forest Preserve District's web page:  Blackwell's McKee Marsh, located north of Mack Road, features trails and two vernal ponds where amphibians such as the northern leopard frog breed. Bird species such as the wood duck, blue-winged teal, and solitary sandpiper forage in the area.
