All children entering fourth, fifth and sixth grade this year are invited to serve our FVPC family as an acolyte. An acolyte carries the light of God into the worship service, lights the Communion table candles, and returns at the end of the service to carry the light of God back out into the world. There will be a meeting for information and practice for new and returning acolytes on Sunday, September 8, in the Sanctuary following the second service.
