Community Garden Sign-Up Form

Applications for the 2026 community garden are now being taken. Gardeners may choose to:

• Rent individual plots. Rental for each plot is $25.00 for the season.

  and/or

• Sign up to maintain the community garden plots, where produce will be grown for donating to local missions

By completing this application, gardeners agree to:

1. Abide by the full pesticide use rules: no weedkiller and use only pesticides that are labeled as safe for use in organic gardening.

2. Keep their plot free of weeds, pests and diseases. No planting of periennals, shrubs or trees. Otherwise, the plot will be mowed or tilled by the coordinator.

3. Refrain from smoking and bringing pets to the Community Garden.

4. Abide by the policies and practices of the Fox Valley Presbyterian Church.

Water supply is provided by rain barrels in the garden. Hoses may be used to bring water from the church building as necessary on odd-numbered days, by securing a water key from the church office.

Restroom facilities are available in the church building during office hours and whenever the building is unlocked for scheduled activities.

Church office hours are 9:00 am-4:00 pm, Monday through Thursday; 9:00 am-noon, Friday. The church office phone number is 630-232-7448.

If issues arise, gardeners will be contacted and a resolution mediated.
