There’s something for everyone on Sunday morning at 9:00AM.
5th/6th Grade Class - Room 4
Students engage in learning about God’s Big Story that is found in scripture through engaging with one another, video introductions, opening scripture, and praying together. Beyond this, it serves as a great transition for students as they journey from elementary to middle school. Fifth grade students should expect to be invited to our middle school youth group events on occasion throughout the school year.
7th/8th Grade Class - Youth Lounge
Students in this group engage with the nuts and bolts of the faith, and in particular the PC(USA) expression of Christianity, while also delving into scripture. As an additional part of this process, students will engage in service and worship leadership as they work towards making public affirmation of their during the month of May of their 8th grade year. Eighth grade students will also be assigned an adult mentor to guide them through this process and help them to articulate their faith.
9th-12th Grade Class - Adult Lounge
Students can expect some light breakfast foods and fun conversations with this Sunday morning offering. With the help of adult “hosts” each week, students will engage with tough topics of the faith and what it means to live out that faith in the world as we also engage contemporary issues. Once each month, high school students will also assist in preparing for the Sunday School service project focus, and even be encouraged to help out with Sunday School later that day.
